With several challenging obstacles including: –

  • Monkey Bars
  • Meat Grinder
  • Bog of Eternal Stench,

the team are hoping to raise a significant amount to local charity Special Effect. SpecialEffect puts fun and inclusion back into disabled peoples lives by using state of the art technology. Furthermore, by levelling the playing field, they help bring families and friends together through video games. This has a positive impact on therapy, confidence and rehabilitation.

DCResponse are UPS, generator and maintenance experts based in Witney, Oxfordshire. SpecialEffect is one of their nominated local charities when it comes to fundraising.

Nikki Aston of DCResponse took part last year and has drummed up interest with some of her colleagues at DCResponse along with friends from Aston & James, Marketing Sense and GM Bailey Refrigeration who will all be taking part in their 1st Obstacle Race. Nikki commented ‘The Monster Race is just a few days away and we have a great team of people ready to have some fun whilst raising money for a great local charity. DCResponse have taken up the challenge and we are ready to face the Bog of Eternal Stench amongst other obstacles, running with likeminded people all in aid of SpecialEffect.’
