The European Commission’s F-Gas regulations have changed
The European Commission’s F-Gas regulations have changed. This has been done to reduce the global warming by gradually reducing the manufacture and
importation of fluorinated gasses, like FM200 gas suppressant, within Europe.
FM200 gas suppressant is heavily used in fire suppression.
As demand is now increasing way faster than the gas can now be supplied, prices have massively increased over the last year, with a 50% increase in January this year only. We have so far protected you from this price increase, but unfortunately, we can’t do that any longer.
Prices for FM200 gas suppressant will continue to increase throughout Europe as supplies continue to have their cap reduced.
If your current fire suppression system uses FM200 gas and you don’t want to pay the ever-increasing prices or risk not being able to get hold of it at all, why not ask us to source you an alternative?
Switching now will save you time and money and will ensure your system stays operational.
There are other fire suppression agents and systems on the market and, as such, won’t be affected by European Commission’s F-Gas regulations.
